Developed for special requirements to meet special requirements for vehicles making collection and delivery transport, the SAF INTRA Self-steering axle: SAF Smart Steering Control increases your manoeuvrability, saves tire wear, fuel, time on manoeuvring and therefore costs.

The main features of the SAF INTRA self-steering axle: SAF Smart Steering Control are:

Active assisted steering up to 25km/h forwards and backwards
Single steering cylinder in double design directly on the steering knuckle reduces the system weight to less than 40 kg
Reliable steering angle transmission thanks to kingpin sensor and therefore no additional need for installation space in the area of the kingpin
Same steering angle as with standard SAF INTRA self-steering axles
