The V.ORLANDI E551 series is composed by a rigid coupling, which allows ± 105° steering angle and ± 20° vertical oscillation of the trailer’s drawbar eye
The main features consist of the following:
- The E551 coupling stands out for its high towing values and is mostly used in Heavy Duty applications and for long combination vehicles (road trains).
- The pin can be opened at any angle between truck and trailer
- This series can be used for a wide range of applications and for several markets
- It has a manual opening and an automatic closing mechanism
- Safety locking device
- This series is homologated acc. to ECE R55 standard as class “C50-X”and can be equipped with sensor indicators
- For special applications, a steel bell mouth is available
- Wear plate available as steel or optional as nylon version
- The opening lever can be ordered mounted standard downwards or long action downwards
