SAF-HOLLAND Completes CBXA AeroBeam™ Fixed Frame Suspension Series with New CBXAS25, CBXAS30 Models

The new suspensions complete the CBXA fixed frame lineup, joining the CBXAN23 and CBXAS23 models introduced in 2022.

The CBXA AeroBeam Series is the industry’s lightest weight line of top mount fixed frame trailer air suspensions and is engineered to provide the ideal balance of strength, durability, and weight savings for demanding on-highway and on/off-highway applications. The complete CBXA AeroBeam Series now includes 23K-, 25K-, and a true 30K-pound-capacity models designed for tanker, bulk hauler, refrigeration, platform, and specialty trailer applications.

Built around SAF-HOLLAND’s advanced AeroBeam design, the CBXA AeroBeam Series combines lightweight construction with proven structural durability. The lightweight cast steel trailing arm beam delivers long service life while minimizing overall system weight. An integral shock absorber design improves ride performance while enhancing undercarriage clearance and protection from road debris.

The CBXA AeroBeam series is designed to reduce maintenance and extend suspension life. A pivot connection tension control bolt maintains proper clamp force, eliminating the need for routine re-torquing while preventing premature bushing and frame bracket wear that can contribute to tire wear.

The patented SwingAlign™ system allows for quick and accurate axle alignment without disassembly or replacement parts, helping fleets maintain proper tire tracking and reduce tire wear.

For enhanced braking performance, simplified maintenance, and lower total cost of ownership, the CBXA AeroBeam series is standard with the SAF-HOLLAND P89™ air disc brake or the optional P89 PSP7 air disc brake.

The CBXA AeroBeam Series also features a robust 5.75-inch diameter axle that is 19% more rigid than competitive axles, significantly reducing axle deflection to improve tire life and overall durability. The CBXAS25 and CBXAS30 models, featuring a 25K-rated axle, are available exclusively with parallel spindles for optimized performance and reliability.

To accommodate a wide range of trailer chassis designs, the CBXA AeroBeam Series is available with multiple frame bracket configurations including weld-on, weld-on with wing and bolt-on options. And it’s available in ride heights ranging from 14- to 17-inch, axle track widths of 71-1/2-, 77-1/2-, or 83-1/2-inch, and can be equipped with the Posi-Lift option.
