SAF-HOLLAND, one of the world's leading manufacturers of axle systems and suspension components for commercial vehicles, is expanding its production capacities in Turkey.
A new production line for Haldex ModulT brake calipers is being built at the Düzce site.With this investment, the company is strengthening its local manufacturing expertise and underlining its commitment to further growth in the region.
The first plant in Düzce was founded in 2016 with 23 employees. Today, SAF-HOLLAND TÜRKIYE employs around 100 people. The SAF air suspension unit from the INTRA series is manufactured there for the Turkish market and neighboring regions. An important milestone was the production of the 250,000th SAF axle in December 2023. The expansion of the product portfolio to include the local production of Haldex ModulT brake calipers is now the next logical step to meet the increasing demand for high-quality brake components.

The new production line was installed in the second plant in Düzce. The new building has a total area of 7,500 m² and was specially designed to integrate the latest production and quality standards. In addition to additional production capacity, new jobs will also be created here in the long term.
The planning and implementation of the production line was carried out in close cooperation with the Haldex experts from Sweden. Their comprehensive know-how in brake technology flowed directly into the development of the production processes. The SAF-HOLLAND Group thus impressively demonstrates how successfully synergies from the combination of SAF-HOLLAND and Haldex can be utilized - for innovative solutions, increased competitiveness and sustainable growth.
