Air Operated Lock Release Mechanism

Coupling from the cockpit: With HOLLAND's air operated lock release mechanism technology; the driver can lock or unlock the fifth wheel from his workplace. The remotely operated mechanism is particularly practical wherever frequent coupling and uncoupling is the order of the day.

The air locking system has been specially developed for terminal tractors and is adapted to the extreme conditions of frequent coupling operations.   

The fifth wheel is opened and closed by the integrated compressed air cylinder - at the push of a button from the driver's cab without having to leave it.   

If the fifth wheel is to be used on public roads for a short time, a manual locking device is available.
