The V.ORLANDI MV505 series is composed by a rigid coupling, which allows ± 91° steering angles and ± 23° vertical oscillation of the trailer’s drawbar eye. The shape of the bell mouth, combined with drawbar eye toroidal section, achieves articulation on vertical plane.
The main features consist of the following:
- It stands out for its special “eye catcher”.
- It has an automatic closing and manual opening mechanism.
- A special hydraulic /pneumatic cylinder guarantees zero clearance between coupling and drawbar eye, so allowing a comfortable run.
- This series is homologated according to ECE R55 standard as “class S” (complies with BNA NF R41-101 requirements)
- The opening lever can be ordered mounted either upwards or downwards.
- A special compact version with a smaller mechanism box is available.
