W - Low Maintenance Technology

HOLLAND's low maintenance fifth wheel designs feature special skid plates on the top of the fifth wheel plate and therefore have very low lubricant consumption.

This supports freight forwarders who have their sights firmly set on reducing the maintenance costs of their vehicles while at the same time being environmentally friendly on the road.   

The low-maintenance fifth wheels are equipped with plastic sliding plates on the contact surface. In conjunction with the durable, maintenance-free rubber bearings and the plastic wear ring, there is only one lubrication point on the lock piece. Only a small amount of lubricant is required for this.
