V.ORLANDI EH45

The V.ORLANDI EH45 series is a 45mm automatic drawbar coupling, which is designed for steering drawbar trailers. This coupling series is homologated according to ECE R55, or 94/20/CE standard, it is easy to handle, can be maintained very fast and is cost efficient. All EH45 couplings can be equipped with various sensor and remote options.

The V.ORLANDI EH45 series is composed by an oscillating coupling. It allows ± 95° steering angle and ± 30° vertical oscillation of the trailer’s drawbar eye, which allows high an angle of freedom.

The main features consist of the following:

This series stands out for the vertical articulation, this distinctive feature allows to face rough roads and even off-road thanks to its designed buffer system.
It has an automatic closing and manual opening mechanism.
An articulation pin between the bell mouth and the tie-rod realizes articulation on vertical plane while a patented 3rd buffer makes coupling operation easier.
This series is homologated acc. to ECE-R55 or 94/20/CE standard as class “S” and can be equipped with manual or pneumatic remote open system as well as several sensor indicators.
The opening lever can be ordered mounted either upwards or downwards.
