V.ORLANDI MV50

The V.ORLANDI MV50 series is a 50mm automatic drawbar coupling for BNA standard drawbar eyes, which is designed for steering drawbar trailers and central axle trailers.

This coupling series is homologated according to ECE R55 standard and it is easy to handle, can be maintained very fast and is cost efficient. All MV50 couplings can be equipped with various sensor and remote options.

Product information

The V.ORLANDI MV50 series is composed by a rigid coupling, which allows ± 91° steering angles and ± 23° vertical oscillation of the trailer’s drawbar eye. This series can be used for a wide range of application.

The main features consist of the following:

It has an automatic closing and manual opening mechanism.
The shape of the bell mouth, combined with drawbar eye toroidal section, achieves articulation on vertical plane.
A special hydraulic /pneumatic cylinder guarantees zero clearance between coupling and drawbar eye, so allowing a comfortable run.
This series is homologated according to ECE R55 standard as “class S” (complies with BNA NF R41-101 requirements) and can be equipped with manual or pneumatic remote opening system as well as several sensor indicators.
The opening lever can be ordered mounted either upwards or downwards.
A special compact version with a smaller mechanism box is also available.
