V.ORLANDI EH500

The V.ORLANDI EH500 series is a special 50mm automatic drawbar coupling (tip over axle coupling), which is designed for steering drawbar trailers.

This coupling series is homologated according to CRN standard and is designed especially for road trains in the Australian market. It is easy to handle, can be maintained very fast and is cost efficient.

The V.ORLANDI EH500 series is composed by an oscillating coupling, which allows ± 80° steering angle, 47° upper vertical oscillation and a 20° lower vertical oscillation of the trailer’s drawbar eye, which allows for high angles of manoeuvre on tipping over axle trailers.

The main features consist of the following:

This series stands out for the special vertical turning angle designed for tipping over axle trailer
It has an automatic closing and manual opening mechanism. An articulation pin between the bell mouth and the tie-rod realises articulation on vertical plane.
EH500 series is homologated according to CRN and ECE 55R 01.
