SAF TIRE PILOT I.Q. - the new, ECE R 141 conform version of the proven tire pressure refill system.
The SAF TIRE PILOT tire pressure refill system has been further developed and is now compliant with the amended legislation of EU Regulation No. 2019/2144 respectively ECE R 141.
The new SAF TIRE PILOT I.Q. tire pressure refill system automatically ensures the set minimum pressure on all tires of the trailer. If necessary, the system automatically refills to the preset tire pressure. This extends the service life of the tires, saves fuel costs and avoids complete failures.
Too low tire pressure and creeping pressure loss in the case of unnoticed run-in damage: In 80 percent of all cases, these are the causes of tire failures and increased fuel costs. The tire pressure refill system SAF TIRE PILOT I.Q. effectively counteracts these possible impairments: It continuously monitors tire pressure and always keeps it at an optimal level, even while driving or after run-in damage.
The SAF TIRE PILOT I.Q., available for rigid and steer axles, is connected to the trailer's compressed air supply. The system communicates permanently with the EBS. In addition, if necessary, a warning message can be sent to the driver via a display on the dashboard if the minimum tire pressure cannot be reinflated.
