PREMIUM COATED-Technology

SAF PREMIUM COATED is a multi-stage coating process that additionally protects the axle beam from aggressive environmental influences and makes it fit for any weather. The fleet thus benefits from the longer service life of the axles and the associated higher economic efficiency.

The long-term protection offered by PREMIUM COATED technology benefits fleets with particularly high-quality trucks, tankers and silo vehicles that are in service for a very long time.   

The coating process takes place in several steps: After a multi-stage, intensive pretreatment, a special powder coating containing zinc and an additional top coat are applied. The embedded zinc content in the powder coating prevents under-rusting in case the top coat should eventually be damaged.   

The PREMIUM COATED coating is available as an option for all SAF INTRA suspension systems in the 9-ton range. For vehicles with the additional protection against weather and dirt-related corrosion damage, SAF-HOLLAND offers a 10-year warranty against rust-through.
