Haldex strengthens its position as an integrated brake system provider

In the field of brake adjusters, Haldex has been a leading supplier since the 1960s and has continued developing its products based on this longstanding experience. With the Haldex AA1, the company offers an automatic adjuster that ensures consistent break clearance under varying operating conditions, supporting reliable brake performance over time.

The Haldex S-ABA (self-setting automatic brake adjuster) underlines the company’s pioneering role in this segment. Equipped with an electronic brake pad wear sensor, it contributes to improved maintenance planning, while its self-adjusting control arm simplifies installation and greatly reduces the risk of incorrect settings.

With the ModulT compressed-air disc brake, Haldex addresses the growing need for efficiency and optimisation in transport operations. The single-tappet design reduces system weight and minimises the number of wear parts, sup-porting lower maintenance complexity and helping to reduce operating costs over the vehicle lifecycle. An integrated adjuster unit automatically compen-sates brake pad wear, contributing to consistent braking performance and reduced service interventions.
 

As part of the digital transformation, Haldex is continuously expanding its portfolio with intelligent software solutions for modern trailers. With its modu-lar structure, the EB+ 4.0 electronic brake system enables integration of ad-ditional brake, safety and comfort functions, enabling manufacturers to adapt systems to different vehicle requirements.

Additionally, a software update management system (SUMS) ensures reliable and compliant management of the increasingly software-controlled vehicle systems. For fleet operators, this means more transparency and more effi-cient service processes. Haldex is therefore laying the foundation for future-proof connected trailer solutions.
